Carved from ledge and lifted into purpose, this landscape was reshaped to create a space for play, movement, and quiet growth.
The site presented the most dramatic grade change Anderson had ever taken on. The front yard’s steep slope and uneven ledge outcroppings created a hazardous entry sequence and unusable land around the home. Vehicle doors couldn’t open safely, and there was no flat surface for daily movement. In back, the goal was to reclaim land for both beauty and family function, while working with the existing rock conditions.
